Poetry Recitation and Singing:
A way of Dharma Transmission easily penetrates into people's heart

*The use of poetic verses for Dharma talks.

*The use of Dharma for composing music.

*The use of poetic and musical voices to describe Dharma so that the listeners can easily remember and understand.

This method of Dharma transmission is most beneficial and suitable with many types of situations, circumstances and conditions for everyone living near the temples and teachers or even far away from the temples and teachers as well.

  • For those living near the temples and teachers:
After listening to the Dharma talk given by the teachers, one can listen repeatedly the Dharma words summarized through poetry and/or music performed by the singers. The listeners can thoroughly comprehend, penetrate and remember the Dharma lessons.

  • Those living far away from the temples and teachers can still benefit in the same manner. One can listen to the CDs during leisure time, after reading the Sutras, after Dharma discussion with friends, during the celebration of Buddha's birth, during the Memorial of Ancestors Day, etc..

  • For those that are driving on the roads or freeways or especially on a long distance from one city to another, it is a task with multiple benefits. While driving and still able to listen to the Buddha Dharma, there is really nothing more valuable. Additionally, these CDs are an encouraging presents served as a reminder, a guidance for each other in progressing on the path of ending stress, suffering and liberation from life and death. When speaking of poems, of course, music must also be mentioned because poetry and music cannot be separated. For that reason, there are many, many songs of Poetic-Musical Meditation appearing everywhere.
